SageGlass, the pioneer of the world’s smartest electrochromic glass, today announced the company’s newly launched website, developed and designed by ad agency Brownstein Group, won Best in Show in the Website Features-Home Page category at the 2016 W3 Awards. The W3 Awards honor creative excellence on the web and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind the award-winning sites, videos and marketing programs.
The SageGlass website was selected for this award from a submission pool of more than 5,000 entries from ad agencies, public relations firms, interactive agencies, in-house creative professionals, and web and graphic designers. The Best in Show designation is only awarded to the top 1 percent of all work entered.
“We are honored our website was recognized with such a prestigious award and extremely pleased with how our partners at Brownstein Group were able to turn our vision into a visually compelling reality,” said Alan McLenaghan, CEO of SageGlass. “From the website’s interactive renderings demonstrating our dynamic glass’ functionality to the segmented portfolio and news and trends pages, visitors are now able to engage in a much more informative and enjoyable user experience.”
The SageGlass website also won a Gold Award in General Website Categories-Construction; a Gold Award in General Website Categories-Manufacturing; and a Silver Award in the Websites Features-Visual Appeal category.
The W3 Awards are sanctioned and judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts, an invitation-only body consisting of esteemed professionals from media, interactive, advertising and marketing firms, including executives from Condé Nast, Disney, Microsoft, MTV, WIRED and Yahoo.
