SageGlass wins two major awards for its HARMONY electrochromic glass at BAU 2019 in Munich

SageGlass, the leading provider of electronically adjustable glass, received two prizes for the HARMONY™ glazing solution. First of all, it was awarded a special prize by the judging panel for the BAKA award, handed out by the Bundesverband Altbauerneuerung e.V. to honor outstanding products for building redevelopment. SageGlass HARMONY was also victorious in the Architektur + Bauwesen innovation prize – awarded by the trade journals AIT and xia Intelligente Architektur for products and solutions that meet architects’ needs in a particular way.

With HARMONY, SageGlass has taken its electrochromic glass a step further: As is normal with such products, the application of an electrical voltage creates a tint in the panes of glass, offering precise sun or glare protection where required. What's new is the seamless transition from one tint level to another across the whole pane, continually from top to bottom, or vice versa.
